Hi @Angela328 , yes, definitwly pursue your plans! Think long term, and that you will be hosting, but not babysitting 🙂 However, I would be there when they check in, it will give you (and them) a good feel for the situation.
On the long run, you might want to consider placing check in and check out times into place, it will make everything smoother and more predictable. I have 3-8pm as check in times and I ask guests the day before arrival for their ETA, always worked out great: we always meets guests upon arrival, then leave them alone.
