@Christine1992 You want to be careful here, you should probably contact airbnb and have them assist. You don't say if this is a guest emergency, where they're leaving, in which case they need to cancel the rest of the days, or a host emergency, in which case you def. want to call airbnb and try and get a penalty free cancellation for them. Also, you should not refund any monies directly, have it go through airbnb so there is no chance they get double refunds.
