Hello my name is amy

I live in brooklyn have been a superhost 17 Times in a row. Started with airbnb 8 years ago.

two days ago I woke up middle of the night to many emails of my guests saying their airbnb listing at my place had been cancelled.

airbnb never notified me till 7 hours later.

my 3 listings in the same property were deactivated.

i never got any answers from airbnb.

does any one have an experience with that?

thank you

amy

@Amy148 yes this seems to happen a lot. Do you know if any guest complained about anything?

@Amy148  Based on stories in this forum, it seems that these delistings happen because of some complaint from a guest, sometimes due to allegations of undisclosed cameras or if guests accuse the host of some other improper behavior.  Usually if it's related to cleaning or something more mundane there is more warning.

Would this be due to the stringent NYC laws on rentals, @Amy148, and one of your neighbours has reported you? Hope it's fixable.

Could it be because you have 3 listings?  I think if they are all homesharing and you only

allow for a total of 2 STR guests it should be compliant

for example you could have 2 listings each with a max guest of 1 and then have another LTR listing without a max guest constraint.

NYC.gov site has the current regulations (which I think still differ from what is posted on the AirBnb website).

Are they illegal listings according to your city legislation @Amy148 ?
