Hosting/renting entire home

I want to host sometimes and other times I want to rent my entire home on holidays . 

Is that possiable to do both ?

Yes, definitely, and easily.

You need to have two separate listings - one for the whole house, and one for the private room.  Then, just block dates that you don't want to have available for the respective listings.  You can even set your "whole house" listing to "unavailable as default", and then open up the dates that come available (if you are home most of the time).
