How often should you update your payout methods

I hosted twice in last month then discovered no payout made. Rang helpline to discover I needed to update my payout method with same details as previously?? no previous notification to do this or inbox messages. Now my payment is late until details verified. Is this standard?

It sounds like you are being asked to complete verification. Airbnb does a routine check to make sure that payouts are being sent to the correct account and host at all times.

this makes no sense unless they email the host and inform them they need to do the verification.  We also are missing a payment.
