I recieve a wierd request

I found a listing on Craigslist and it was a good deal but they requested I pay through walmart to Wal-Mart transfer for the money and that's strange. Then and email from this address came through talking about the reservation airbnb@tenancy-reservation.com is this real?

everything should be done through airbnb: the reservation, all communication and the payment as well

I would report this to airbnb

@Marissa27 It is a scam. Don't touch it. 😉 It is not even on airbnb. Did you notice that domain name tenancy-reservation.com??? Should have alerted you in the first instance...

Don't know which city you found this scam through craiglist but I found the same in Washington DC. It gave links to imgur to see pics of the apartment  http://imgur.com/a/MGTKA The apartment address is: 1015 33rd St NW Washington, DC 20007 . It has the same email domain airbnb@tenancy-reservation.com

I really appreciated to find this post to realize it is a scam with no doubt.

My friend just got a similar email for a property in Chicago that he found on Craig's List. These scammers need to be stopped! airbnb@tenancy-reservation.com
