Instant Book

I am trying to book a reservation which is using Instant Book.  I want to use my travel coupon to apply to this booking.  If I hit the "instant book", will I then still be able to enter my code?  Or should I request the host to turn off Instant Book??

I think you need to send an inquiry about the dates, not just request a booking, then you will have the option to add in the coupon code when going through the booking process.

You can still use the coupon - I did so a couple of weeks ago.

I turned on Instant Book a month ago and had received very good booking responses. My only criteria for my guests is that they have recommendations from previous hosts. However, when there were a couple of guests that did not meet that criteria and the reservations were "cancelled",  I received a warning from AirB&B that I was a "bad boy" 🙂 and would affect my rating as a 5-star host if I rejected any more reservations. Any suggestions how I can avoid that? Cheers!

I also had negative experiences using instant book... after 3, I stopped. Your ratings and reviews are almost more important that the amount of bookings we get in this business, imo.
