OK, so what is the question ?

 

If it is an extension of a current reservation, you or the guest can change the reservation:

 https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/50/i-m-a-host--how-do-i-make-a-change-to-a-confirmed-reservation

 

https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/913/can-i-change-a-reservation-as-a-guest

 

Otherwise the guest can make a second booking for the new dates (offcourse dates must be available to book in all cases)
