I hosted a group 5 days ago. Airbnb owes me $430 for this stay. They claim some system problem is preventing my $$ from being released to me. Have spent hours on the phone with them & they STILL can not tell me WHEN i'll be paid! I'm canceling my acct & switching to vrbo! Airbnb are thief's!
@Julie1253 Hi, I feel your frustration. The same thing happened to me. Mine was resolved and I hope it doesn't happen again. Here's what I did:
1) go to twitter @airbnbhelp and post your complain thereally about your delayed payout. A case manager will get back to you.
2) Still if no resolution, go to Better Business Bureau and fIle a complain.
Posting your complain and calling customer experience does not help. Good luck!

Since this has been going on for months I am surprised it hasn't been solved. When I called aout non payment I was told multiple excuses...can't get into my account, problem has been escalated to a different department but wouldn't transfer me, told I don't have a bank account #, etc. Tried to talk to a supervisor and was put on hold for almost an hour until I hung up.
I have had a similar problem and am waiting for €500 I have contacted airbnb numerous times but they are still blaming me for wrongly imputing my bank details which I haven't. Any help in solving this problem.
