Thanks for your reply! Anything is possible as this is my first stab at listing on Airbnb.
I got an email with a "link" to pre-approve/decline. However, when I click that and am taken to Airbnb, there is no place to pre-approve. It is listed only as an inquiry, so you could be right.
Someone else reported a similar problem recently, @Jenelle4. It could be a hacker as it was for another new host. When she contacted Air BNB, there was no record of the message within Air BNB. Contact Air BNB just to make sure. Here is a guide for different ways to contact them.
