google Airbnb support and you find all sorts of numbers, also if you put it into the search function here.
Tweeting seems to work.
I am also trying to contact AIRBNB regarding non-payment.
It is impossible.
HELP
I have had to call them twice, did not have to wait that long.
I had a guest for 2 days and AirBnb did not pay, they claim Airbnb's host payment did not materialize and now they have been "looking" at the issue, for a week, a case manager "Brad" is supposedly solving the problem with no results and no feedback on what is exactly going on.
Called today and the person I spoke to threatened to hang up on me I was not satisfied with her answer, again, "someone is already looking into this case" and has no idea about status. I asked and told her that I wish to speak to her supervisor, answer "there is no supervisor"
Bottom line: I told the people I spoke with that this issue is not my problem. They approved the host, their fees are collected Lightning fast and the mind boggling avalanche of data flow to your email, SMS, AirBnb App, as well as any other contact they have registered on you. Works with terrifying efficiency.
I am not the one to go after my non-paying host, this is an issue that definitely it’s up to AirBnB (subliminally suggesting for me to contact Host for payment) thus definitely not for me to solve
Does seem silly, they are going to pay you why delay?
I asked them to pay me and then sort their problem......they said that they couldn`t do that.
You are definitely not alone......I had the same problem.......I just kept tweeting them ,and it was sorted-the day that my next guest
was arriving. I would have cancelled them if I had not been paid!
Best tweet them and say you will cancel the next guest .
@Michael273, but cancelling a guest always works against the host, stiff penalties...
Maybe there are penalties.....but they won`t withold payment again!
I`m not running a charity for airbnb.
Thanks for your comment
Michael
not trying to argue with you, @Michael273 , I get it how frustrating it must be! Just thinking that advising to cancel the next guest is not a good solution, as only you, the host will get penalized for that, ironically by withholding payment from your next beeoking after that. Airbnb is in the driver's seat....have you studied the Airbn penalties for host cancellations?
Hi Annette,
I understand what you mean.....but sometimes it`s better to do what you want ,
airbnb are not the only agency doing holiday lets......there are so many people complaining about not being paid-
something has to be done about it....regardless of penalties.
All the best,
Michael
