I own an Airbnb in South Africa. I South Africa we are extremely limited in ways we can get paid by Airbnb and one of these ways is through First National Bank and PayPal. Last week, when trying to withdraw money via the FNB website I was told when transferred to PayPal that I couldn’t withdraw money because I had exceeded my yearly limit. I had to submit proof of identity and residence which I have done. Three days later I have heard nothing. I rely on my income from Airbnb and am starting to panic. Anyone else had this experience and can you help?
@Gareth76 quite a lot of hosts register with Exchange4free to overcome the annual limit.

Hi Jeff. Pardon my ignorance but I haven’t heard of any of the above companies. Can you expand on how it works? Thanks for taking the time to respond.
@Gareth76 you'll also have to parden my ignorance, I'm just a host like you but a lot further north.
This is an old post on the subject.
The link in my earlier post is all the info airbnb has for payouts in South Africa, perhaps use the links to e-mail payoneer and exchange4free for more information.
@Gareth76 im in the same situation as you do. Im a host from Manila and have called Paypal several times but they put me on hold for some minutes which is very costly and got nothing in the end. Sent them several emails too but not getting any response either. Any chance airbnb can step in to help resolve by calling paypal?
