Hi everyone,
I'm new to Airbnb and so I should be grateful if someone could answer this query. My holiday home is in Madeira, Portugal and because I use the house quite regularly I also have a Portuguese bank account. I live, however, in the UK.
As the majority of my guests come from the EU, is it possible to have my payouts paid directly into my Portuguese bank account in euros, rather than having the money paid into a UK bank account and then having to pay fees to transfer the money into my Portuguese account?
I hope this makes sense.
Christine

If you add your portugese account to payout methods it would receive funds in the euro, only if the bank has a portuges address for you, to send you statements/bills etc.
At least thats how I read it, click the link for info

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your email but when I try to enter my Portuguese bank account details, I get a message which says "Please verify your IBAN matches your billing country" and I am unable to continue.
Hi Christine
Just to inform you that Portugal and the United Kingdom have a tax agreement. If you live over half the year in one of the above countries, that is where you declare and pay the due taxes. You will however have to inform the Portuguese tax office that you are living mainly in the uk (183 days or more) hope that helps
Hi Christine,
I have a property in the Caribbean and I have split my payout method into two countries, i.e. my caribbean and my UK bank accounts. You should be able to input your portuguese bank details, maybe you need to ask the bank over there for the details for international transfers, as it seems that you may have something wrong.
hope it helps
