I don't think there is anything that you would do, @Louise222 about cancelling the pending guest. If the system allowed a booking while you were in pending payment status the pending guest will not be able to continue with the booking. Just to be sure you might contact the pending guest and let them know what happened and direct them to Air BNB. I am pretty sure the Air BNB system follows the "bird in the hand" concept.
Yes Linda is right. You do not need to do anything. It’s first come first serve. If you look at the pending payment details it probably will give you a message now that says booking no longer available.
My situation is slightly different. I'm Hosting and the Guest's request was held up due to "Payment Pending" status. He says he updated the cc info but the request is in limbo.
The request has been like this for days and they wish to arrive Tomorrow!
Does anyone have any suggestions on resolving this?
