Hi,
The last guest who stayed in my apartment decided to stay two extra weeks, so I sent him a change of dates which he accepted but there was a problem collecting his payment.
I received a mail from airbnb saying his credit card did not work, and they would advise me when he did the payment.
Since then, he said he did the payment with another card but I have not received a message from airbnb about it, and altough almost two weeks have passed and his new reservation is almost over, I have not received the payment.
The payment appears in" future transactions" and I do not know why. Is this because he still has not paid?
If he has really paid, why is the payment still in futyure transactions?
If anyone could help me I would reallya ppreciate because my guest does not reply to my messages anymore and I wrote twice to airbnb already and got no reply!
The reservation is almost over and I do not know what to do. I am very disappointed not to get any answer from airbnb altough it has been almosy a week since I wrote them.
Thanks!
Try contacting airbnb in the help center again. Just to be safe, create a new resolution request immediately after your guests leave, requesting the amount you should have received by now. The guest will have 72 hours to accept or to reject. After this, if no solution has been found, you can involve Airbnb.
Thanks for your reply Damir, I guess I will do that!
I assume the Guest has not paid, the transaction never went through.
Thanks for your reply David. That's what I thought as well, but I just wanted to be sure before writing again to my guest!!
