Problem with apartment but still available

Hello,

I recently spoke to a host who approved me to book

Then airbnb emailed say apartment unavailable, but when search for another place apartment was available for dates.

The host contact me to say there was a problem with apartment, but when I search it is still available to book.

The host has number of properties with good reviews, but this is a new property with only one review.

Does this sound like a red flag or an issue with airbnb systems?

Am feeling it be easier to book a different apartment.

Any suggestions or advice be great

Hello @Paul912,

You seem to have just a single review and it was written in 2013.

Some hosts dont feel safe with "newbies" airbnb users. So that maybe a reason. Just look for another place. There are thousands of them!

Thanks @Elizabeth429 but we had a number of converstations with the host and nothing from my end has changed

The host has increased the price though so maybe that would be the case.  I'll find another place
