Refunding

Hello I have a question if a guest has booked for a few days, is already staying and wants to leave earlier I'm forced to give my money back on days when he can not stay?

 Because the canceling rules we have chosen are Moderate! I mean, he can only get his money back if he drops 3 days before he arived!

 And besides all this I'm a little bit unhappy about losing some money and from my  experience in the middle of the week no one make a reservation!
 We hosts if we cancel a booking must be clear even with papers if necessary!
Do you help me with an opinion?

Hi @Mihaela9 I don't think you're obligated to provide any refund. As a guest, I have had to leave an Airbnb earlier than planned and I didn't ask for a refund since it was my choice to leave. 

 

As a host, I would just leave the reservation as it is and do nothing. Definitely don't cancel it, leave that up to the guest. I wouldn't provide any type of refund unless there was something wrong with the space that caused the guest to leave.

Thanke you very much for your opinian. I was thinking about doing so, because wherever you stay after you have paid and made a reservation you can not get your money back after 2 days! Thinking only Booking...
