Last night's guests were lovely - however they came with, what could have been and awkward senario, and one I had never encountered before.
So having had the booking confirmed ages ago, knowing I had two guests who had paid the room rate, I had the twin room ready for them. Son and Mum arrived, stating that their confirmation was for both my rooms. I investigated how I could have misunderstood, and see on the Airbnb website that guests can filter the number of rooms they want and they are not charged the room rate, only the number of guests. I could not find any information on my confirmation stating that 2 rooms were required, and I could so easily have had the 2nd booked out.
Presumably if 3 guests book, each wanting a seperate room, there is no way an increased single occupancy rate can be charged?
I am now bracing myself to create 3 seperate listings, #1-bedroom No.1/#2-bedroom No.2/#3-both bedrooms....and remembering to link calendars....or is there another, more straighforward way?
