Setting up the payout method

Hi just recently put my first listing on Airbnb and having trouble figuring out how to link a bank account  so that the money goes into that instead of being sent out , any help would be great

Go to the drop down menu under your profile photo to Account Settings then to payout preferences on the left.  I think this might be what you are after?

You can also call them on 02 8520 3333.  I find their support team extrememly helpful.

I am in nz do they have a nz phone number I find it strange that they can't be phoned makes me feel a bit nervous about starting

Yes me too - I have made an error in providing the incorrect suffix for payout on my bank account details and I am having a terrible time trying to find out where I change my bank account info on their website!!

Try going back to Payout Preferences and see if it is listed there.  It will not be active yet but should show as a method.  If not, I would give them a call.  They are always more than happy to help out with these things.

Hi Haden,

In your payout method sections, select direct deposit. It should ask for your routing and account number - put that in, and you should be set. Good luck with you listing!

my payout method has been sitting at "pending verification" for over a week. I have my first guests in 2 weeks time, what happens if my payout method is still sitting at this status?

Why is it taking so long to be verified? Does anyone know?

Hi I am from nz too. instead of phoning them. do they have email that we can ask question to? also they are request  7 digits account number. but most of the banks account number is more than 7 digits. how do I get pay??

Have a look at the CONTACT BNB post under Community Help (1st post) - lists all the ways of contacting them - no email though.
