I need help. I have the strict cancellation. Yesterday I had a guest check in that had a 7 day reservation. Then this morning he checked out stating his company is sending him to another city. He put in for a shorten stay and asked for a refund. Does the strict policy require me to give a refund on the remaining reservation?
If cancelled after check-in the Strict cancellation policy does not provide a refund.
If the stay is shortened, there is technically no reason for refund (price should stay he same, only remaining dates are made available again). It is totally relying on your goodwll if you want to give some refund (for example because the remaining dates are booked again)
