Superhost changes

Hello lovely community

I would like to say that the new changes to superhost evaulation are pretty bad.

The 80% 5 Star Review is I think really fine. But the avg 4.8 is pretty hard to archieve

at least for me. I got one 1 star review from a guest, who got pissed that he didn get the whole appartment

for the already pretty cheap price and the location was for him to far away from the centre.

I think some guests does not get the luxury their already get with airbnb.

For this one star rating my avg to 4.8 is so hard to archieve. I basically need a LOT more then 80% 5 Star reviews,

because of one guest who wanted a 5 Star Hotel/Appartment near the centre for very cheap price...

I am really pissed about it!

With your number of reviews, @Dimitri36, I am surprised a single negative review would threaten your SH status.  I think what can be more difficult is the 4 star rating which most guests would think is good but not good enough for SH status.

@Dimitri36 you are entirely correct.

4.8 is much harder to maintain than 80% of 5-star ratings, especially if a guest gives you any rating lower than a 4-star.

It would help to express your opinion about this to AirBnB as many ways as you can.

Hopefully if enough hosts say they do not like the 4.8 standard, they might change/improve it somehow.
