Superhost status

Hello, I'm Lala from Baku, Azerbaijan and I do my best to provide high-level hosting to my customers,

The problem is that I've cancelled 1 reservation out of 42 once after discussing it with my potential guests (due to force majeure in my apartment) in May, 2016 and they still had 100 more days for making another booking instead. I had no experience to report force majeure to Airbnb to avoid low commitment rate. So it's already one year passed since I've started my host activity and it's really sad not to get Superhost because of one next-day cancelled reservation. Is there any way to get Superhost with one cancellation from host side? Here are my stats: commitment 97%, response 99%, 93% of trips with 5-star rating 😞

@Lala5 If you had reported it to AirBnb and it fell within their extenuating circumstances policy, then you would not have this issue. The one year penalty continues from the point you cancelled. You then have to wait a further quarter and meet the Superhost requirements again to gain that status which is from May 2017 onwards.

I have to say, that you have lovely reviews and most people go by those rather than Superhost status. 

However, you have a mix of photos, some taken with bookshelves empty etc and some not. I would re-take all photos with the place as welcoming as possible, as right now I would not book as it is a bit hard to understand what the place will look like when you arrive.

Thx a lot for reply 🙂 I'll definitely retake pictures as my every single guest mentions in his comments that the apartment looks way more better in real life. I'm really very sad with this Superhost fail, so there is no way to speed up this process as I see... anyway thx for visiting my page and giving valuable advices 🙂 Lala
