I would not personally do this. Even if there were no problem for someone stealing or even damaging it, there is unfortunately that added potential for misuse. Personally I would strongly suggest against it as most people travel with their smartphones only or a tablet.
I would suggest you also put restrictions on your internet service for suspicious sites etc as to further protect yourself but ultimately this your space so do what best suits you!
No, and I would never offer one... Who doesn't have a smartphone these days, I have a laptop for work but I do most of it on my cell, it is just easier. I have thought about putting a desktop on the reception area for general use with a printer, but never a tablet or a laptop... and never in the apartment.
@Rita662 No, I certainly wouldn't offer this. Almost every travels with a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop of their own.
@Luana130 Plenty of people don't use a smartphone. I don't. There's no way I can type anything more than a few words long on a phone screen, it's just too small.
