Turning off Instant Book!

I have tried to turn off "Instant Book" by following the prompts on Airbnb hosting site - but the screen 'freezes' before it completes the process so (evidently) Instant Book is still turned on for my listing.  I've taken it off and put it back on before without any problem.  I just need to have some more control on future bookings.  Anyone else having issues with this?  HELP!

I just got someone who wants to book a lengthy stay but she won't be able to enter her credit card info right away so I am panicked that someone is going to come along in the next few hours and book a one week stay right in the middle of this girl's time and mess it up!  Help in turning off instant booking- it has caused me more grief than good!

@Shannon388   Airbnb WANTS  you to have IB on.   It means more accepted bookings which translates into more money in their pocket.  Hosts who don't use IB are being penalized by having their properties rank lower in the search results, don't get "penalty-free" cancellations, etc.   Mine has  miraculously "turned" itself on on numerous occasions after I had turned it off.   In my opinion it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what is going on here.  😉

So how do you switch off IB. I've spent nearly an hour trying various things to find a prompt that will let me switch it off for one of my properties.

I want to turn off Instant Book, but can't. I went through 4-5 screens, got to calendar, and it went dead.

I have blocked reservations for a few months because I'm doing renovations on my home, maybe that's why, but it's certainly not a user-friendly system to use.
