Hi @Nina75 just like Turo is specialized in car sharing, Airbnb is specialized in home sharing. RV's that are available on airbnb platform are not for guests to use/drive around. It is for accommodation purposes only (for people to sleep in).

@Nina75

you could refer to the car rental in your listing, so that prospective guests would know about that possibility.

And Turo most probably has much better conditions to protect the renter than Airbnb would.

AirBnb is a 3rd Party, that provides a rental Platform that allows sharing.

It would be very possible for AirBnb to add an option for rentng cars or renting RV's that can move. Turo provides insurance but they take out 25%. I rcently made $1600 on a 7 day rental I paid Turo 25% of that. AirBnb is bigger than Turo and offering cars would be a seemless transaction for guests and users. The cars could even be delivered to the house where the guests are staying.

AirBnb already has the infrastructure and excellent support channels to make this happen.

Im sure that AirBnb is working on something, but it would be nice to rent out my car and house all on the same platform within a seemless manner.

Why couldn't Airbnb allow us to add this as an Airbnb "experience"? Be able to offer car rental or airport transfers as part of the booking. Total package deals? It seems like a very easy addition for all parties to make additional revenue from.

Andrew, I agree with you...

I'm going to add this as an experience option and give it a try to see how it goes.

@Nina75  I agree with you and @Andrew1166 .  This will help the guest. But Airbnb will need to get liability insurance of car rental. Experience will need to be approved by Airbnb. Let us know how it goes.

Yes they will need to get some sort of Insurance. Turo has insurance.

It won't go anywhere I'm afraid  @Nina75 . As you know car hire is not an 'experience' as defined by Airbnb, you would just be wasting your time.

Not sure if you want to offer this as an add on, why you don't just offer it through the platform you already use?

How about listing the car, truck, van, RV etc. on Airbnb for stationary use and on Turo for driving and then inform the guests to book it on Turo and Airbnb if they want to drive it? Turo will cover the insurance.
