A guest reserved my listing over a weekend and Airbnb did not charge the weekend rate.
I am wondering how this happened and if I should contact the guest to adjust.
I'm sorry to hear, but I think is easier to have a straight rate. However, I would have contacted Airbnb to ask about the wrong calculations.
All the best,Yisi
Hi,
I am experiencing a wrong calculation too. It always happens to my reservations. I lost thousands of Thai Baht for every booking. From my last booking I lost 4,710 THB which is 133 USD. I'm losing a lot. I have a correct pricing and always updated. How can I resolve this? This is so disappointing. I tried to search for Airbnb's direct customer service but I couldn't find it. Please advise.
Best regards,
Marnie
I just took a look at your calendar and it seems smart pricing is on. Smart pricing will override set weekend rates up to 4 months ahead. You could however manually override smart pricing again for the upcoming 4 months and set fixed prices for every weekend.
Personally I would not ask my guest for more money after the booking has been finalized. As a guest I would be kind of upset and that would not be a great start of my stay for a few dollars extra.
I increased the price from $90 to $95. Airbnb is charging my guests the old prices. What can I do? Also, actually contact airbnb is difficult. There is no obvious link just to get to customer service.
