hosts requesting discounts

Should hosts contact you asking for a discount because they are "a fellow host?"

@MattandMaryEllen0 - "should"?  Well, they certainly can but as we have discussed several times in the forums, anyone looking for a discount is typically a bad guest carrying a big red flag of warning. It strikes me as being in bad taste, it's inconsiderate, and if anyone asked me, I'd say no.  It takes nothing to be a host except putting up a property - you don't even ever have to rent it out - but you're still a "host".  This relationship of "both being hosts" is arbitrary.

@MattandMaryEllen0 When I hear “give me a discount”, I want to karate chop the person that said it in the head.

It really puts a bad taste in my mouth and most times, we won’t be going forward from there in any type of financial exchange.

As a host, you know how hard we work.

Don’t belittle what we do and the hard work that goes into it by nickel and dining me for discounts.

The only thing you can “get” is  “get out of my face”.

Oh no~!!!! My mistake...... I guess my excuse is that I was on my phone (getting a new hairdo~) when I posted that and I usually prefer to be on my laptop for the ABB site..... the small screen is sooooo frustrating.
