iPhone notifications

Is there any way I can get a technical staff person to help me? I've tried logging in and out to get rid of what appears to be a message notification but there's nothing there. I have to log in and out each and every time & it's annoying. This is a new problem & wondering if there's a glitch going on.

This is incredibly sloppy software development, test and release policies. As someone who spent many years in software product management, the product manager would have been fired for releasing sloppy code. 

 

Airbnb appear to have very low software development standards, zero QA standards and awful customer service. As a relatively new host but long term guest, this is crap. And the features avaialable in the browser are different that what is accessible on the iphone release.

I too have the same ongoing issue. It doesn't matter where I login from it's always there.
I sent a screen dump off to Airbnb along with a query and suggestion on resolving the issue some time ago and received in response a survey the following day asking questions, that for the most part were completely irrelevant to the issue, which in turn made completing the survey difficult if not downright frustrating.
The issue still remains as you yourself can see.
Half the time I look at the Airbnb icon on my phone and go, "ah well, it's not a guest query, ignore it." In doing so hoping that I'm right and it's still just the glitch.
It's led me to respond late to an enquiry, that I'm lucky to report the guest decided to book regardless of my lack of response.
That was NOT GOOD. So now I'm back to checking my phone every hour.
Hope Airbnb do something about this soon.

I have found Airbnb customer service perfect. Call 415-800-5959.

I thought I had the same issue but when this happens this means you need to log in from a computer or get to the desktop version from your phone. Once I did this and looked at the notifications that wasn't displayed on the app the notification went away.
