Hello i cant find options instabook on my macbook...i try to go to manage listing but there is options booking or similiar...could you help me please

@Tonči0, if you're a new host, you won't be able to activate Instant Book until after you've had at least one confirmed booking. 

I would suggest, though, that you not rush into instant booking mode until you've had a few guests via the usual 'request' procedure, where you have the opportunity to first 'vet' the people who want to book. This will help give you an idea of what sorts of people you want to accommodate.

I'd also recommend that you request a Security Deposit and make your House Rules more comprehensive and firm.

With my exprience, I have never had problems with instant book.  I know it may vary by location and listing, but I find that my instant book guests are usually lower maintnence.  People that prefer to ask lots of questins first usually continue to do so, making for a lot of extra work on my end.

Only use instant booking if you have no interest or worries about who is staying in your place. 

Then it's fine, but expect problems.

Instant Booking is there to generate profit for AirBnB = not you. They hope that people will be impulsive and book on this site rather than another. 

So consider it very carefully.

Gerry, you nailed it!!! Did you know Airbnb hides your listings or puts them at the back of the search no matter how relevant it is if you don’t list “instabook”? It’s a joke - I would be more open to instabook if the guest minimum requirements were more strict... 1 positive review is not enough

I may need to cancel an instabook. It's my first time using airbnb. Somehow instabook is on my account and it's for 3 months from now that they booked. How long do I have to decide if I cancel them? Is it 24 hours to decide? Is there a fee I will incur if i cancel them within or outside of that time frame? How do I turn off instabook!

My reccomendation is suck it up and make it work.  Otherwise your search ranking, and ability to become a superhost will suffer.  It has happened to me before too.

There’s no “right time” or time frame to cancel on a guest. Airbnb will passive-aggressively shame and guilt you. I had a shouting match with an Airbnb CS rep because I needed to cancel a guest same night booking. Even though they say “if you’re ever uncomfortable” you can cancel without any penatiles... Yada yada yada... cancel now, don’t wait. Make sure you say you’re not comfortable with the guest or they will penalize you.

l other guests wihtout. WHY cannot I change this setting?
