Hi,

I started to receive inquieries from potential guests who all claim to be interested in my listing, they mention that they want to book it for 10 days, that they are on business travel and the company pays for them and then they ask me to contact them on whatsapp.

I am wondering what's happening?

It's a old scam.

They will tempt you by saying something like; company pays for the accommodation -but they will be staying with a friend - they invite you to go 60/40 on the 'company payment' - they won't stay even stay there, money for nothing and everyone is a winner.

The hook - they will ask you for their cut of the money in advance, or will pay using stolen card details.

The idea then is to get you to pay up urgently, they will run away with your cash and finally, you are left with no payment.

Answer the inquiry with a simple '.'   and report the profile. It will go away.
