who accepted the reservation?

The couple that is currently living at my place, want to extend their time with me, but somehow! a new confirmation get accepted! can you help me?

If the dates are booked by somebody else, you can not extend the reservation for the couple, unless you cancel the new reservation (but then penalties will applied by Airbnb). If you are on Instant Book, reservations can be confirmed automatically. The couple should had informed you earlier about there plans, so you could have make arrangements to change (extend) the reservation while the dates were still available.
