My airbnb account is saying two different things. It says that I have confirmed a booking but also that I need to invite them to book by pre-approving their trip and that my cottage is still open until the guest books.  I am not sure what this means!

Do you know how to delete a Cleaninf deposit. It keeps showing up and I turned off deposits. I don't know how to fix this and can't get ahold of anyone from air B and B

I am new at this as well, I pre-approved a guest and now show a pending status.  But dates are still available in my calander, does this mean that they have not yet paid for the days they requested..Pending, do i have to do something on my behalf.

Hi there, when you pre-approve a guest you are simply letting them know that you are accepting their reservation should they wish to book.  A reservation is not confirmed until they have paid and it is at that point that airbnb will confirm that the booking has gone through and your calendar will reflect this.  Pre-approving a request will expire after 24 hours if the guest does not take up the booking. During this time you can pre-approve or accept another booking from any other guests for the same dates.  There is no penalty for this as it is first come, first served.  Hope this helps.
