Can I deny inexperienced airbnb user

I have a listing on the beautiful island Zanzibar in the indian ocean.
I´ve been a host for almost 1 year. I´ve been hosting many different peoples.

I´ve noticed a pattern in the reviews I get from my guests.

The experienced airbnb guests gives me a better review then the inexperienced guests. The experienced user are use to stay at airbnb accomondations and they know how it works and what to expect.

The inexperienced guests on the other hand doesn´t get it at all. They tend to ask a million questions about everything. They seems to belive that I´m not only renting out my house, I should also act as tourist information, weather forcast, marine biologist, taxi service, environmental expert, 24 houres full service hotel reception, food critic etc.
Of course I answer all the question I get as good as I can according to my ability. And belive me, I spend alot of time answering these questions.
But in the end it turns out that they are not satisfyed any way. They always find something to complain about. It seems to me that they don´t get the idea with airbnb. That I rent my private home to an affordable price. And I am very clear in my description what you get and what you don´t get. Still they expect a five star hotel.

It has come to that point that I don´t want to risk my reputation with any more bad reviews from these inexperienced airbnb users.

My question is. Can I deny inexperienced airbnb users?

Can I do that without breaking the Airbnb nondiscrimination policy?

I have the instant book function.

@Ulla18 - there is a feature for Instant Book guests that allows only those who have had a "recommendation from another host".  That would mean they had to stay with someone before to get a review.  Thus "experienced". Also, turn on the "verified" criteria too - this is a guest who is willing to go to the lengths to get verified before booking.

If this doesn't solve your situation, stop giving in to every guest whim.  Create pat answers using the "saved messages" section of the email system to send details that get used over and over.  You do not have to be everything to a guest and living in a foreign local, you're going to get a ton of tourists who all want a tour but not nearly at the tour price.  Send them to your local travel bureau for information or to, dare I say it, TripAdvisor.  Make them do some of their own homework.  Set up your guidebook and point them towards that.

Hopefully that helps.

@Alice-and-Jeff0 Thank you. I appreciate your advice. I´ve changed my features in my settings now. Hopefully this will help me 🙂
