Flood Assistance Houston

As part of AirBnB's Houston's flood assistance program, I've been hosting a family. Their reservation is meant to expire tomorrow and they wish to stay till next Friday. As they are currently without a home, I would like to extend them at no cost, but the AirBnB booking system is not allowing me to extend their stay without charge. When I set the cost to zero in the alteration page, the system tells me that the cost of a reservation may not be less than $10. How do I make this change without charging my guest?

Contact Airbnb. they have a system for emergencies like this.

During the Sandy Hurricane in NY, we (hosts) offered free housing for 30 days. Airbnb dind't charge either. After that event Airbnb created an emergency service to offer free housing when disasters happen.

I would like to offer my travel trailer in Arizona at no charge for up to 6 people.. I know its not near Huston, but maybe someone could use my place... does anyone know how I offer this place?

Hello @Heather85,

Lovely to meet you. It is fantastic to hear you would like to help with support and offer you place. Here is the link to the dedicated Airbnb Disaster Response page, where hosts can offer their listings for free. As you are not based directly in the area outlined it won't be possible for your to offer it on that page. You might want to take a look though.

It is a really kind thought. Thank you.

Lizzie
