Guest Cancellation

Hi - My guest wants to cancel their reservation, but she is telling me that it is already cancelled when she tries to cancel it online.

 

From my perspective (the host) the reservation is still in ACCepted state and NOT cancelled state.

 

Can anyone help please?

I had that issue last year and had to contact Airbnb to get it rectified.

Hi Chris

 

Suggests she gives BnB a call - the number will be on her booking confirmation.

 

If BnB send you a request from the guest saying that you are cancelling the reservation, don't accept this. Only accept if it shows the guest as cancelling.

 

 

The guest needs to cancel or you will be penalised (read BnB cancellation policy for hosts).

DO NOT cancel yourself whatever you do even if Airbnb seem to ask you to do it.
