How do Cohost Payments Work?

Hi,

I had a cohost for 2 weeks while we were out of town.  Is there a place in the AirBNB platform to set the % of payout and send money through AirBNB?  Or is the standard practice to calculate based on payouts and send a check?

Hi @Karen-and-Mike1 I hope you are well!

There is no longer the facility to calculate and split co-hosting payments on the platform anymore, so all payments go directly to you, and you need to make a payment to your co-host in the best way for you both (personally I invoice my clients and they make payments by bank transfer to me).

How much do you typically pay someone for co-hosting while you are out-of-town?  I was thinking 20%, but I don't know if that's in the normal range?
