How does Airbnb report income to IRS?

Does Airbnb report your host income as a dollar amount or do they report the number of days you hosted/rented, or do they report both to the IRS?

Generally Airbnb will submit a 1099 form to the IRS, which shows total revenue paid. You should report the same amount as income on your taxes.
