I have turned them down. I am nervous because they often don't have a history on the site. If you have agreed to host a filmmaker, how has your experience been? Are they shooting something that is NSFW?
I have read at least 3 similar stories on here from different guests who also had requests from film crews, the host's approved the bookings to the 'film crew' who then trashed the properties.
Might not be the case with this people but if there is no history, I would be very caucious; personally I'd decline if it is an entire let since I won't be in the property to keep an eye on them.
Wish you all the best with whatever you decide.

It's porn - and you will find they move the furniiture, leave stains, etc...
@David298 It is not neccesarily bogus but there will be huge liabilities possibly even legal ramifications for you if anything goes wrong. If you are dead set on renting to film crews contact an attorney first to make sure you have all your bases covered and ask for a huge deposit - film crews have a reputation for trashing places.
I did it once years ago, not via AIRBNB, and it was not worth it by a long shot.
If an actual location scout was to find your place, for a real movie I mean, then you would know. Also the money would be way above the nightly rate. A friend of mine was a location scout for many years!
I had the same request a while back and after quite a bit of dialog, I turned them down. Just didn't feel right. Too much of a liability.
Do not even talk to them - just decline the request. They are scammers and theives looking to case your place for valuables. Once they see what you have they will come back at a later date and break in and steal the stuff they want.
Time was they used to use motels and hotels for filming cheap porn - these days its so much easier and often nicer to get an entire property for different shots. Think I am joking.....I know of one host who has had this happen twice in London. The first came to his attention after a couple of years when a work mate pointed out that his flat was in this new production. Couldn't have been any other flat except his.
