In Vegas, we are more than the strip, we are a strong, supportive community. We've come together and put politics aside to help each other. There has been no division in our city during recent events. We are so proud of our city and everyone in it. We take care of people here. We pray the victims and their families find peace and heal. We had two friends at the concert who were injured but are thankfully alive. That being said, I'm struggling with our Airbnb. We are not on the strip but closer to Red Rock. I need advice.
What are your thoughts on refunding guests that don't want to come to Vegas and are asking for a full refund? Is Airbnb refunding on their end? I'm open but conflicted. I'm completely sympathetic to those who would like to cancel on one hand, on the other I just don't know where to set the limit for refunding. One in specific has asked to cancel BEFORE the shooting because they simply changed their mind, but now they are demanding a full refund because of the recent events. I just need a limit so as not to be taken advantage of. How long do I allow the cancels? I get the fear factor, but I hate that our city is getting punished. Our community has come together in an incredible, unimaginable way. I'm amazed. Locals rushed to the Mack center at 2am bringing blankets, food, water, and even insulin. The next day they had enough blood in 8 hours to support every hospital in the city. There is very little room for donations as all are at capacity.
