Theft and guest identification

Hi.  I am a host from South Africa and a South African guest has stolen a number of items out of my apartment.  Is there any way I can find out his South African identity number in order to report the theft to the police?  I have his mobile number and know which area he lives in, but do not have his identity number.  Thanks.

You need to register the theft to the police and ask Airbnb to liaise with them.
