Traditional Bed and Breakfast starting up on Airbnb advice please

Hi Guys

My name is Liz, I have run a traditional Bed and Breakfast here in Devon for many years. I have recently joined the airbnb community.

 I'm struggling with the best way to fit my property setup into the airbnb 'system'.

I have 2 bedrooms and one shared guests bathroom.  How can I set up my profile to enable separate guests to book separate rooms on the same night?  I have put in the sleeping arrangements for the 2 rooms, but because of the way the system works they book both rooms for the price of one.

Do I need to have a separate listing for each room?

Please can I have some guidance.

@Liz551 I think this needs to be done via three listings (with a very keen eye on your calendar to avoid carnage). One each for the two (individual) rooms and another for them as a duo. Good luck, and welcome to the world of Airbnb.

@Liz551, yes, you will need to create two separate listings, one for each room. And then if you want the option to rent both rooms on the one booking, this would be a third listing. If you do go with the third listing, Airbnb has a 'sync calendar' function that should automatically block off the dates for the other two listings.
