Ungrateful guests

Last two guests left sub-par reviews despite the fact that I allowed each to check in early, and I let one store his bags until late in the evening after checking out.  One left the shower very dirty each time he used it and then complained about cleanliness in the bath.   I got out of my way to to be very accommodating to guests, yet some seem to think they should be getting  the Hilton for what are very low prices

I feel for you Alex, we go out of our way to provide a great experience only to get 'throttled' with a poor review. But your reviews do not read badly, last one was brief but complimentary. If what you are talking about was private feedback leave it at that, don't be tempted to make a public comment on it.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it if tye star rating was poor, but on the upside these guests are few and far between! You have a wonderful bunch of reviews, your guest in general love you.

You may have had differences Alex but put these two behind you and get on with what you obviously do very well!

Cheers, Rob.  I wouldn't respond publicly unless the public portion was blatantly unfair.  In this most recent case it was my first 3 star, and I was pretty peeved.  The guy came to town for a big football match, found a great location with very easy tube access to Wembley, yet still left mediorce ratings in "value".

Yeah I have had it too, although nothing less than 4 stars. Move on, your a good host and maybe that will be the last you will strike this year.

had a guest try to blackmail me with stars and ratings. 

can I curse on this forum?

well, I told him this conversation was being taped.

told him to get his car and leave.

instant booking was closed as was almost the listing.

the changes I made now suit me fine.

but it's a good way to practice all that we have learned hey robin!

my question to you is there are time zones 24 in fact and you live in a half time zone.

is that in your listing?
