Why not share a guest's user number/profile with the host whose property is on their wishlist?

I wish Airbnb would give us a link to potential guests who put our property on their wishlist. I can only tell that 131 people put my property on their wishlist, but no clue who they are. Knowing who it is could be constructively used for marketing purposes, to send special offers, etc.. Once I am on someone's page, I can see their wishlists - so it's not a secret, so why not the other way around? Seems simple enough. Here in the forums we can check who gave us thumbs up on a post - putting a property on a wishlist is like giving thumbs up, no?

In theory yes....but....it would just be spam email. We put properties on and never take them off after visiting the location. Others we mark as potential places, but we may never visit. So I guess on balance they don;t want hosts emailing guests based on a wishlist....which is all it is in some cases!

@Gerry-And-Rashid0 , wise words.... I saw the spam opportunity as soon as I typed it in about the special offer. so it comes down to my personal curiosity about it, but i realize it could open up a bag of fleas.
