We understand a verified person would have a photo of their image on the profile. A recent request came through. We wanted to look at the profile and photo before we accept or reject. However the profile photo of our prospective guest showed only some flowers.
If they are verified person, why wouldn't a photo of their image is shown?
Thank you for your concern, but it didn't actually happen. I descsribed a hypothetical interaction with the police. My insurance company would have even greater concerns that I rented to someone I didn't even have a name for.
The insurance company might not pay for any loss or damages saying not enough care has been taken.
Going off track a little my photo as a host has cut my head off, any idea how I can change it?
Hi @Margaret273,
Just a bust photo would do.
Or upload another photo and ensure that there is some room above your head to be excluded.
You can and probably should require to see photo ID when a guest checks in.
If airbnb does not explicitly suggest seeing photo ID as a prerequisite, it could be hard for the host to ask for it.
