@Antonio1046, I don't know why your original message isn't showing up so I have copied and pasted it from my email here:
I had a guest staying in my apartment and she flipped my glass table and left it on the floor. When I told her I want to use her deposit to pay for some items broken from the accident, she threatened to report me to Airbnb cause I endangered her by having a not secure table. The table is an ikea glass on trestles and is true the parts are not connected but it never fell on us in monhts of living in our place.
Is this table to consider a danger item in the apartment? Do you suggest to report the damages anyway or is the guest right to disagree to repay the items as it was a dangerous situation? I think that the table was stable and I can proof it, but I am wondering if Airbnb rules consider it dangerous if the top is not connected with the base.
This doesn't sound like a dangerous situation to me - if the table was really that dangerous, the item would have been recalled by Ikea. Call Airbnb immediately and report the damages. You are well within your right to claim expenses from her deposit for the damage caused. Review the guest honestly to warn other hosts. We don't want guests like these in our homes.
