switching propeties

I need to switch two reservations from one property to another. The guests have agreed to this (much larger/nicer space for the same $) but I don't know how to transfer a reservation from one listing to another. All input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe there is any way you or the guest can do this by yourself without incurring additional fees. Best to contact Airbnb and as them to make the switch for you

I only have one listing so don't know if this works.

If you go to the guests reservation and click "change or cancel" it looks like one of the options is to change listing.

Let us know how you go on.

Unfortunately that doesn't work, since when you select the other property you want to swap with, Airbnb says it's not available.  Even bringing up two windows and trying to swap both at the same time doesn't work, each will say that the other property is not available.

If you cannot switch even if dates are available, is must have something to do with settings for the other listing like minimum stay.
