How can we improve our booking rate increasing during winter time? Any suggest?

@Mo--and--Ganna0 you may consider the following to help you with improving your bookings/occupancy.

-Winter travelers often seek a cozy, comfortable experience. Use soft lighting, plush throws, and warm colors to create an inviting space. Since guests might spend more time indoors, enhance your entertainment options. This could include a good selection of movies, board games, books, a streaming service subscription, or even a gaming console.

-Make sure to inform potential guests about local winter attractions such as ski resorts, winter festivals, ice skating rinks, or picturesque winter landscapes. Include this information in your listing and provide guides or brochures in your Airbnb.

-Winter is often an off-peak season in many areas, so consider adjusting your pricing to be more competitive. Offering a slightly lower rate or a discount for longer stays can attract more guests.

-Winter weather can be unpredictable, and guests may appreciate more flexible booking and cancellation policies during this season. The key is to tailor your Airbnb to the needs of winter travelers, ensuring they have a memorable and comfortable stay. Hope this helps!

Hi @Mo--and--Ganna0!

@Alicia753 had some great suggestions, you definitely want to highlight any winter events. Locally we have a botanical garden that does a light show that is quite amazing and our local zoo does zoo lights as well. Maybe highlight if there are some shops that do wine tasting or olive oil or vinegar tastings, are there any festivals that happen in the winter in your area?

Consider special offers to draw in people or maybe you could reach out to some great guests who loved your listing and the area during the other seasons and invite them with a special offer to experience your area during the winter!

You may also use this down time to fix up your space or add amenities as this could pay off for future guests. Check out similar listings and see what amenities they offer or people rave about and see if it’s in your budget to include for your space.

Do you have a fire pit outside? Are close to cross country skiing or ski resorts? What about snow tubing? Or snowshoeing? Just some ideas to consider.
