Denied Review Removal – Clear Discriminatory Language + Admitted Retaliation

Hello Airbnb Community and Support Team,

I am a Superhost (4.93★ rating from 591 reviews) with listing #1010069915779653942. I am writing because my request to remove a clearly violating 3-star review has been denied twice, even after escalation to a supervisor.

The review violates multiple policies:

1. Discriminatory / Racist Language (Content Policy + Nondiscrimination Policy) The guest wrote in the public review:

   “There were two hispanic people hanging out in the back yard the day I came in who acted like they owned the place which made me uncomfortable.”

   This is a direct violation of Airbnb’s Content Policy and Nondiscrimination Policy, which prohibit language that “demeans, insults, stereotypes… or seeks to convey a person’s inferiority because of a protected characteristic.”

2. Retaliation / Bias / Deception (Authentic & Trustworthy Reviews Policy) In the private note the guest explicitly admitted:

   “Thanks for not respecting me or the refund for the night I left. I made sure to not recommend this place to anyone.”

   This proves the negative review was written out of revenge for denying a refund — not as an authentic account of the stay.

3. Misleading Safety Claim The guest claimed he had to barricade a door and left early because he didn’t feel safe. However:

   • He never messaged me during the stay about any safety issue.
   • The door had a heavy-duty extra lock/latch (I sent him a photo and explanation of the minor issue, which was already fixed).
   • There were three other exit doors available.
   • The connected-building setup is clearly described in the listing.
   • This unit has dozens of 5-star reviews with zero safety complaints.

I have attached a full evidence package (screenshots of the public review, private note, door hardware, my message to the guest, positive reviews, and host stats).

I respectfully request that a Senior Case Manager or the Content Moderation team personally review this case. Reviews containing discriminatory language and admitted retaliation should not remain on the platform.
