Quick Replies Update & Check-in Instructions Button Request - Attention Airbnb Developers

Dear Airbnb Developer Team,

I've noticed a recent update to the Quick Replies feature, and it appears to have a new look and feel. At first glance, it seems like a positive improvement.

Since you're actively working on this area, I'd like to take this opportunity to reiterate a request that has been discussed extensively in the community: the implementation of a dedicated shortcut button for check-in instructions within the Quick Replies feature, similar to the existing button for checkout instructions.

As you may recall from this thread: https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Ask-about-your-listing/Check-in-Instructions-Link-Not-Working-Pr... we've encountered significant issues with the previous workaround using property ID links. This dedicated button would greatly streamline the process and improve the guest experience.

We believe this would be a valuable addition to the Quick Replies feature and would appreciate your consideration.

Thank you for your ongoing efforts to improve the Airbnb platform.

Also, can you please add a callout to the Guest's Trips Tab that says they need to click the photo of the listing to see all the details about their reservation - including the check-in instructions with photos?

And while you're at it Airbnb 😊 can you create a short code for a LINK to the House Manual. Right now the short code inserted in messages puts the whole House Manual in the message.

Also, can you please add a short code for the number of Pets? Been asking for that for 2yrs.

Try creating a message and see if the new check-in guide is shown as a short code? I don't opt in early to new releases so I'm not able to check it.

I opted into the early release and noticed, like @Andrea6232 , that the quick reply templates now have a fresh look with blue bubbles. The functionality remains the same, and unfortunately there's still no check-in guide shortcut button.

@Bhumika , could you ask the Airbnb developer team if the check-in guide shortcut feature shown in the released video is something we can expect in a future update? 🙏🙏

I also don't see a link to the House Manual (same as before the House Manual shortcut adds the whole house manual to the message) and no link for arrival guide or shortcut for number of pets....sigh.

@Bhumika , following up, as @Joan2709  pointed out there's also still no shortcut to link the House Manual (the existing shortcut appends the entire manual to the message, which isn't ideal).

Could you please ask the Airbnb developer team to consider adding shortcut buttons for the following to quick reply templates.

1. Check-in guide (as in the released video)
2. House Manual (as a link, not the full text)
3. Guidebook (currently, we can add the Guidebook URL to templates or share it manually via the 'Share Recommendations' button, but a dedicated shortcut button would be better for readability)
4. Checkout instructions (already available, but included for completeness)

These shortcuts would greatly improve the host experience. Thank you! 🙏
