Guidebook problems

I'm trying to add sights/shops/etc. to my guidebook, and everytime I do I get a message that reads:  "! Unfortunately, this is no longer available."

Why does this happen?  Is the function of adding that particular location no longer available?  Or is that adding anything else to the guidebook is no longer available.

I have already added a few spots of interest, but there are many more that I would like to add to help my guests get connected to the local scene and services.

Thanks for help!

Holly

Hello @Holly67@Jillie1@Randy-and-Aaron0@Alyce2@Susan-And-Abe0@Wendy-and-Frank0@John-and-Erin0@Marie399@James347@Faye18@Tony-and-Liza0@Josh63

Thanks for sharing about this here in the Community Center. The team have been working on some updates to the Guidebook and so over the weekend there was a slight disruption due to this. I am pleased to say this has been resolved and so you will now be able to add your local recommendations to your guidebooks.

Sorry for any frustration this may have caused and do let me know if you continue to experience any issues with this.

Thanks so much,

Lizzie

(Thanks @Keith1 for your sharing this here too) 🙂

Same issue here. Tried logging out and back in. Tried incognito mode. Tried different listings. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Use Coral.  Better product, no hassles, and it's free.

Having the same problem here, Holly:( At Wendy's recommendation, I'm looking into using Coral. It seems easy to use with the ability to add details, photos, etc. Tryimg to figure out how to link it to my AirBnB listings, though.

@John-and-Erin0, Coral can't be linked to ABB.

I copy the link to my guidebook in Coral and paste it to the message I'm sending via ABB's platform.

Ugh! Me too! I wish there was a live chat help center or something.

Having the same problem today as well, Monday, March 13, 2017. Do wish Airbnb had a live chat option. Hope they fix it soon, I've been telling all my guests to look for my new entries and alas I can't make them.

What is Coral please and how do I link it to my listing?

Thanks all!

Now when you make an entry the response is simpy error 😞

@Tony-and-Liza0,

Coral cannot be linked to ABB but you will see how you can deliver it to your guests once you're in the program.

Coral.com is where you will find it.

I tweeted ABB and they're looking into this but it's been three days and I've heard nothing back yet.

@Wendy-and-Frank0, coral.com takes you to a chemical company. Is it coral.life? That appears to be a guidebook.

But looks like the Airbnb internal one is fixed. At least it is here. Hope it is for everyone else.

@Lawrene0, my bad!  😉

Same problem.  Anyone have a solution?

I have been having the same issue since last week, Thursday I believe. It allowed me to add one restaurant and two outdoor places, tried to add the nearest grocery store to no avail! My question is, are they doing away with the guidebook? I can't see what I have added already on my listing... makes no sense, smh.
